Salt bath and phototherapy

Reborn in salt and light

At Seawater Hotels it is possible to carry out balneotherapy with salt water at high or medium concentration, taking advantage of the outdoor pool (salinity of about 10%) and single pools (salinity of about 30%): the salt bath is a real panacea for the skin and for skin diseases, such as psoriasis or atopic dermatitis.
In case of psoriasis, according to the Seawater Hotels protocol, the therapeutic cycle is completed with exposure to uv-B phototherapy: a professional equipment that allows you to obtain maximum results from the treatment. Phototherapy is carried out under medical indication and supervision.

Salt tube

Regenerate with the crystals of the sea

The saline tube involves immersing the body in a tank full of dry sea salt, heated to about 40 °, which acts on imperfections, water retention and venous return through an osmotic process. In fact, it reactivates the circulation, improving the aesthetic appearance and triggering a drainage process that is able to reduce the circumference of the thighs in a sensitive way. In addition, it is also a valuable aid to calm the pain in muscle contractures.

Hot humid inhalations and micronized shower

Treating pathologies of the upper airway

For chronic inflammatory diseases of the upper airways, we recommend inhalations and micronized showers.
The former act on rhinitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis and bronchial rhinosinusitic syndromes; they consist of inhaling about one and a half liters of thermal water (pure or diluted) in 10 minutes, at a temperature of 40 ° C, 1-2 times a day.
Micronized nasal showers are indicated for catarrhal problems involving the nose and throat. They consist of a flow of aqueous particles produced by a special device that is introduced directly under pressure alternately into the two nostrils. The sessions last about 10 minutes and are carried out once a day.

Thermal aerosol and medical aerosol

Regaining health with aerosol

Thermal aerosols are indicated in the treatment of chronic inflammatory pathologies of the lower airways such as chronic bronchitis, simple broncho-pneumopathies and broncho-pneumopathies with obstructive component. The sessions, to be carried out once or twice a day, last about 10 minutes. The medical aerosol, on the other hand, uses a physiological solution added with drugs. Each treatment is preceded by a medical examination in which the specialist prescribes therapy depending on the pathology, indicating its dosage and duration.
