Four Italian chefs vie for the chance to become the Italian Champion and participate in the World Championship as Italy's representative chef.

Next Generation Student Contest
Four very young students from hotelier institutes all over Italy will try in 45 minutes to create a recipe. The winner will join the Italian chef during the World Championship.

Cous Cous World Championship
The Cous Cous World Championship, the beating heart of the festival, pits eight nations against each other in the name of exchange, integration and peace. Chefs perform live on the Bia Theatre stage the recipes of their countries. Cooking shows by top chefs, wine tastings and cultural insights.

The village is transformed into a theatre of taste and entertainment, hosting cooking shows, talks, cooking lessons, meetings and wine tastings.

Couscous tastings from around the world. Every day from 12 noon to midnight a colourful souk where you can find the best of the lively Sicilian and Mediterranean artisan and agri-food production.
